About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed Electrician to work on commercial and residential roofing projects. This role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems related to roofing, including solar panels, ventilation systems, and lighting.
You’ll work alongside our roofing teams to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, to code, and integrated seamlessly with our roofing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to specialize in roofing-related electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical systems for roofing projects
Install solar panel systems and roof-mounted electrical equipment
Wire and connect roof ventilation systems and exhaust fans
Install exterior and security lighting on roof structures
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Test and troubleshoot electrical systems
Work with project teams to coordinate electrical installations
Provide advice on electrical requirements for roofing projects
Requirements
Licensed Electrician (A Grade preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience in commercial or residential electrical work
Experience with roof-mounted systems (solar, ventilation) preferred
White Card and Working at Heights certification
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
Excellent problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license
