About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team working on residential and commercial roofing projects. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
You’ll be working on a variety of projects from new constructions to renovations, building and installing roof structures, frames, and finishing components. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality roofing solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair roofing structures and frameworks
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
Build roof frames, trusses, and structural components
Install fascia, soffits, and roof trim
Work with various materials including timber, steel, and composites
Follow blueprints and building plans accurately
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Collaborate with other trades on roofing projects
Requirements
Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry
Experience with roofing carpentry preferred
White Card and Working at Heights certification
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Own hand tools (power tools provided)
